I bought the 4 year coverage 2 years ago for a 3 piece luggage set I needed. I was hesitant as most any other time I’ve bought long-term product protection, turned out I never needed it. But, I went ahead and got it.

Fast forward to two months ago. While not heavy use or overweight, I hit a huge opening in the sidewalk while wheeling the suitcase and, sadly, shredded and broke one of the wheels. I got the insurance info when I got home, went online and filed the claim, ready to go with pictures and everything.

The online claim filing was easy…asked a lot of important questions and when done, clicked submit. I quickly received a Claim number, etc email and was told it could take up to 72 hours to process and for any additional follow up.

ONE DAY LATER. Email lands saying claim was approved and the ENTIRE amount I paid for the 3 piece set, not pro-rated for just the damaged piece, was being sent to me in the form of an Amazon Gift Card. (insert jaw drop here)

I cannot recommend this option enough. And, using the claim funds, bought a new set. And yes, I bought the insurance protection as well!

I would not recommend this protection plan to anyone, as the first time the
suitcase was used a wheel came off on the airplane, and the claim was rejected as not covered. Not sure what the plan covers, but paid for the plan specifically for traveling.

What type of batteries does USB port need ?
Answer: You need to provide your own external battery. There is a USB cord inside the pocket that would plug in to your battery, and then you’d be able to charge from the port on the suitcase. Keep in mind, more airlines are requiring that you remove these external batteries if you have to gate check/valet your bag.

What size laptop will fit in this bag
Answer: My Dell XSP15 hardly fits.

Fits under seat & possible to fit: dress shoes, 2 pants, 3 dress shirts, 3 socks, 5 men’s underwear, laptop, 1 shorts, 2 t-shirts?

In my humble opinion, all your clothing will fit. I used the under seat spinner as a second luggage. (Just in case my main large suitcase was lost) I packed more for a 5 day cruise. Enclosed was 2 dresses, 2 leggings with blouses, 2 shorts, shoes, bathing suits, makeup bag, wigs, curling irons and toiletries. It was??

Will either of the side pockets hold a water bottle?
Answer: There is only one side pocket. You can fit a bottle of water (not a water bottle) in the side pocket, but it won’t zip closed.

Has anyone used this on American Airlines underseat item?
Answer: Yes! I have just returned from a 5-flight AA trip that required 2 legs going and 3 returning, and on all flights I was able to tuck this under the seat in front of me, even stuffed. Also, the flight attendants loved me bc the overheads were full on 3 of 5! SO glad I bought this.
