Extra large wheels

Top Positive Review

I think the reviews for this bag are unfairly negative – you have to take into account its cost. I’ve seen it listed from $29-45. I got it for <30 bucks so my review takes that into account. I used it to carry an inflatable Stand Up Paddleboard on a roundtrip flight from North Carolina to Maine (and all the car transport on each end). It was fully loaded with 50 lbs of gear on both trips. I would say it is a great value for a VERY LARGE bag – I couldn’t believe how much stuff fit comfortably in this bag and the built-in compression straps worked very well. While it won’t stand up on its own, that is why it packs down so nicely for storage. The wheels were very sturdy (3 wheels) and made it easy to roll the gear through the airports. It made it through the trip with only one small tear in the material. If you are looking for a bag to use for many trips / long-term, spend more money. But if you need a supersize bag that will get you through a few trips, this is the one. The side pockets nicely fit a roll of duct tape for repairs. And the handles were strong enough to heave it around. The shoulder strap is a joke but who needs that with a roller bag? I’ll be using this to carry all my gear for future ski trips and will just be sure to pack everything in smaller bags inside if I get a larger tear in future. I give this bag a thumbs up considering the price!

I never got the chance to use this item. I ordered it based off of (A) the price and (B) the dimensions. Unfortunately, I found that this bag did not meet the dimensions as listed in the description. It says that the bag is ” 22″L x 12″W x 11″H”, but that does not include the wheels. The bag is more like 22.75 x 11 x however full you pack it. I returned it the day after I received it since I was planning on using it on Spirit Airlines where the carry-on size is “Maximum of 22 x 18 x 10 inches (56 x 46 x 25 cm) including handles and wheels.” It may not work as a carry-on depending on your airline so be sure to double check before you fly so that you don’t have to pay an arm and a leg at the gate!

how much weight does this bag can hold?
Answer:

I don’t know the maximum capacity but when I put a 12 ” tablet pc, a camera bag holding two digital camcorders with extra batteries and a shoulder bag with a couple of USB drives in it, it appeared to have overloaded it to the point where the two wheets started to move apart and the bottom started to drag causing holes??

How durable is the bottom surface? I’ve had a similar bag crack on me from throwing around.
Answer:

The bottom and frame are durable. I bought two of the Rockland 22″ bags to haul our segway minipro’s. Each weighs in at slightly under 30 pounds. We need the bags or our segways when we travel: train, auto, ship. The bags have held up without a hiccup. I bought several other bags for our before the Roclands. All ??
