The backpack is great. The daypack however, ruined EVERY shirt and sweater I wore. The mesh on the back did what you see in the photo to all my tops.

Can somebody tell me please if you can bend and pack this backpack in a smaller suitcase?
Answer: The smaller detachable day pack, yeah probably but the bigger pack no you cannot. It has a frame in it for support that won’t bend

im 5??8 and 130lbs (medium?) however I want the main bag to fit in overhead carry on. What size should I get?
Answer:

My wife is same size as you. The 55 should be fine for you.

However be aware that carry on sizes varies depending on the airline and the type of planes.

I??m 5??0?? and 145 lbs, what size would work best for me?
Answer: The best way to determine the best size for you, would be to measure from your shoulders to your hips. The height of a XS/S is approximately 23 inches. A S/M has a height of roughly 24.5 inches. By comparing your shoulder to hip length to the height of the backpack you can find what will fit the most comfortably.

So for the Fairview 55, is it a 40l main pack with 15l daypack?
Answer: The main body of the pack is 42 liters with a 13 liter day pack which makes 55 liters in total.

Does anyone own this bag who is bigger than 180lbs? Trying to figure out if a bigger girl can use it?
Answer: We tried to figure out what it was a ??women??s pack?? because my husband wanted to try it out. He is 185 and 5??10??. He had no problems what so ever. Of course, weight distribution might make it a different fit for you.
