Excellent bag for a carry-on. Fits under seat on delta flights (not sure about other aircrafts) it has pockets on the sides and smaller ones in the front for toiletries and the main compartment is pretty deep for its size. Use it for business travels (usually are 4 days long). Now if you’re a person who needs to pack 1/2 the closet don’t get it. I always travel light. I recommend the same for you.

The strong chemical/smoke smell was completely overpowering. No way I can trust this to be in my vicinity! Returned after I got the brush off from the manufacturer. They simply told me to contact amazon….no customer service assistance at ALL! Will never buy anything with the Rockland name on it ever again.

Would you say this is ideal for traveling somewhere for a week? is the bottom strong and sturdy?
Answer: I used it for a 3 day weekend and had plenty of room. I myself could use it for a week long travel. The bottom seems sturdy.

Is this bag small enough to use as a personal item at the airport?
Answer: U have to look at the airline and airport regulations on the size of bag you can take on a Cary on.

Can it be used as a diaper bag?
Answer: Think this would make a great diaper bag. Purse stuff on the outside. Baby stuff on the inside
